Andrés Reisinger’s functional sculpture – BOLD exploits the implicit anthropomorphism of the chair form, which stands in for the idea of habitation. The equivalent of a big bear-hug, this piece is part of a broader work entitled ODYSSEY – an allusion back to the historical origins of epic narrative and an interplay of virtual and physical experience.
