In line with the release of it’s new hemp collection, Australian apparel brand, Afends purchased a 100 acre property outside of Byron Bay to act as a local hemp research and development lab. The founders plan to initially test the growing and harvesting process with the aim of eventually creating their own local hemp industry that they don’t have to outsource.
