Created by researchers at the University of Texas in Austin, the palm e-tattoo is a piece of wearable technology in the form of a temporary tattoo. The innovative technology can monitor physiological signals of stress such as heart rate and electrodermal activity. Made of a thin and flexible material that adheres to the skin, the tattoo contains sensors that measure the body’s signals and this data is transmitted wirelessly to the user’s phone, empowering them to view and track their stress levels. The technology aims to provide users with a non-invasive way to monitor and manage stress, potentially leading to improved mental and physical health.
