Whether you WFH or tune in on the train, hybrid work models have become the new norm. Cisco plans to take our ability to connect remotely to the next level – into your car to be specific. This month, Cisco announced a partnership with Ford to extend Webex Meetings to vehicles. Upcoming Ford Electric Vehicles will have Cisco’s WebEx technology embedded in their infotainment systems. Drivers will be able to set up and moderate meetings with voice commands. To prevent distracted driving, The system will operate in audio-only mode unless the vehicle is parked. The system can also filter out cabin sounds to prevent other attendees from finding your work setting distracting.
