James is a communication expert with over 15-years experience working with some of the world’s most progressive brands. James approaches brand communications with a strong emphasis on cultural insight and deep audience understanding to inform brand strategy and behaviour.
James has worked at some of the world’s leading agencies including ClemengerBBDO and GPY&R. Prior to joining The TABOO Group in 2014, James was a Strategy Director at renowned Cultural Movement agency, Strawberryfrog in New York, working with global brands such as Reebok, Jim Beam, Mars and Pepsico to develop culture-led brand innovation and communication strategies.
With extensive experience in the beverage industry, James is also co-founder of the Bucha of Byron, a national kombucha brand established in 2015 spanning alcoholic and non-alcoholic kombucha products.
