This week, GOAT Group, the parent company of sneaker-centric online marketplace GOAT, raised $195 US million in a funding round that valued the company at $3.7 billion – more than double what the start-up was worth in its last 2020 valuation. GOAT said it sold $2 billion worth of product over the last 12 months, and that its sneaker sales have doubled.
