A recent report from venture capital firm Work-Bench proves a significant gender disparity for enterprise startup founders. The study findings, which were based on Work-Bench research along with data from PitchBook and Crunchbase, showed in 2021 25% of startups receiving funding included at least one female founder, but when you looked at just enterprise software companies, the number plunged to only 1.9%.
